The only problem with taking all of those submissions about finding other McEwan’s off of their own pages is that now there would be no way for you to comment on the individual submissions. You could write your own submission or you could write to us through the contact us page…. but I thought maybe that would keep some of you from commenting… so…
I decided to put a short version of that consolidated list up where there is a link at the bottom that will take you to a comment box.
I am going to just list the names or the title of the original submission with the number that I assigned to them. (Those numbers are not in any particular order. They are not alphabetical… probably reflect the order in which we received the submissions.)
Anyway, if you would like to add a comment about one of them, or some piece of information you can comment on it that way. We do check the comments when they come in…. if we are not traveling and as we have time. If you are comfortable with putting your information out there, include an email address that others can use. We don’t keep any on file, and through the years, they sometimes change.
Can’t guarantee that any of this will work, but I figure it’s worth a try. So here’s the abbreviated and interactive consolidated list….
1 - McEwans in Blossburg, PA
2 - William McEwen and wife Jane, of Kilfinan, Argyll
3 - McQuown
4 - William McEwan
5 - Sarah McEwan, Lochgilphead, Loch Fyne, Argyllshire
6 - McCune
7 - MacEwens
8 - McCuin
9 - Hector Mcewan
10 - McEwens of Canada
11 - William McEwan
12 - Caribbean Mc Ewen
13 - help me out - Thomas McEwen of Scotland.
14 - Mcewans who moved from isle of Skye to Northumberland
15 - Clan Ewen Derbh Fine or Family Convention
16 - Search Arkansas by Clarence Sikes
Hope this will help some of you. Reviresco!
